Indian Plum, Oemleria cerasiformis.  Blooming before most plants are even budding, these flowers emerge in late February.  The fruits were eaten by many northwest first peoples.  To create the dark background, I held my oilskin hat behind the flowers and used the G1's remote to snap the shutter.
